A Clearer Path Ahead
Kate Charlton is a registered counsellor based in Toowoomba with a background spanning business, government, tertiary education, medical sectors, and the not-for-profit community space.
After decades supporting others in operational and leadership roles, Kate recognised her deeper calling — to work directly alongside individuals navigating life’s challenges.

Kate completed her Master of Counselling (USQ) and now brings together:
- Professional training
- Peer support experience
- Coaching experience
- Lived experience
- 35+ years of life and professional perspective
Kate understands what it is like to be capable on the outside while carrying struggle internally. This informs her calm, grounded, and practical approach.

First Session
Your first session is simply a conversation
If meeting in person at Emerald Kove, you’ll be welcomed into a calm and comfortable space. Tea, coffee, or water is available. There is no pressure to “perform” or explain everything perfectly.
If meeting online, you’ll receive a simple Microsoft Teams link. You do not need to download software.
In the first session we may:
Explore what has brought you here
Identify what feels most pressing
Discuss what you hope might change
Begin identifying small, realistic next steps
There is no rush. You set the pace.
